MAYBE SOMETHING FEELS STUCK; IN YOUR LIFE, YOUR WORK, OR YOURSELF.

Maybe you’re leading something and the weight of it is getting heavier.

Maybe you’re building something and you need someone to think alongside you.

Maybe you’re a practitioner who needs a space with someone that really gets the kind of work you do.

Maybe you’re an organisation that knows something needs to change but isn’t sure where to start.

Maybe you’re looking to bridge the gap between your values and your practice.

I show up as an upstander and an accomplice, not just witnessing what needs to change, but actively joining communities in the work of changing it.

I’ve spent over two decades working at the intersection of therapy, community, and systems change; as a youth worker, a psychotherapist, changemaker, senior leader, and the founder of Partisan; a Black-led organisation that spent five and a half years designing alternative help systems alongside Black and minoritised communities across South London and beyond.

My work is rooted in Black communities and shaped by a commitment to social and racial justice, however I work with anyone who is willing to start from a place of exploration and wanting to do the real work, regardless of race, heritage, cultural background, class, gender, sexual orientation, faith, neurodivergence, immigration status, or other intersecting identities. I look to create spaces to understand who you are and what you carry.

I believe the clinical and the political are inseparable. What happens inside a person cannot be understood without understanding the world around them.

I believe lived experience is expertise. Growing up working-class, mixed Black Caribbean and White British shaped how I see the world, and that shapes everything I do.

I believe healing is rooted; in culture, in community, in the wisdom that came before us.

I believe change happens at every level; from the individual to the system. I can hold you in your pain whilst refusing to accept that the pain was inevitable. Supporting a person on their healing journey matters, but so does changing the conditions that caused their pain. Care and justice, together, not as opposites but as the same act.

I believe in redistributing power; in who holds knowledge, who makes decisions, and who gets to define what help looks like.

I believe this work requires passion, honesty, and a refusal to be comfortable when comfort gets in the way of truth.

I believe endings matter as much as beginnings. I built something, led it, and closed it with as much care as I could. That experience - the building, the leading, the collaboration, and the ending - is what I bring.

I believe rest, restoration, and relationships are not extras. They are the work, and they always have been.

I believe love is a political act. Not love as sentiment, but love as a commitment to the dignity and wholeness of every person I work with. bell hooks called it the will to nurture our own and another’s spiritual growth. That is what this work is, at its best.

I don’t arrive with fixed answers.
I work in the emergence; iteratively, collaboratively, and at the speed of trust.
